The respected Brazilian drummer and music educator Vanderlei Pereira will be offering pandeiro workshops in NYC (Manhattan), starting in October.

Learn how to play Brazilian rhythms such as: Maxixe, chôro, samba, partido alto, and baião, just to name a few. Once the basic material is digested and your vocabulary, endurance, and speed have been built up, we'll cover some of the newer variations that incorporate funk and hip-hop elements. If there are enough experienced players, an advanced group can be formed as well.
